An Evening with David Goggins

NewSouth Event Rentals recently sponsored An Evening with David Goggins at Sugar Creek Brewery. This was one of our favorite events of the year. We typically leave our events feeling accomplished, but this event was different. We left feeling “beyond motivated” to grow personally and professionally after hearing David’s inspiring message. It was clear that his story of unrelenting determination and strength was well received by the audience.

Charlotte’s Best Vendors

Did you catch our week long social media campaign promoting local businesses that we love? If not, head over to our Facebook and Instagram pages right now to check it out.

 

Our first featured vendor was Best Day Ever Studios by The Event Lab. They are a top wedding and design firm located here in Charlotte and have planned over 400 weddings in the past 13 years. We love their level of experience! Next, we highlighted TentGuys.com because we think they have some of the best tents, dance floors and specialty lighting around. They’ve been a huge help to us in the past so we wanted to give them a special shout out for going above and beyond. Then there was Something Classic, a full service catering company also based here in the Queen City. They have over 20 years of award winning experience and can whip up some of the best food you’ve ever had. 

 

First Impressions Party Linen Rentals is another local vendor that we are more than happy to recommend. First Impressions specializes in upscale and custom linens for all of your special events. We love their chair sashes and think they’d go great with our chiavari chairs. Last, but not least is Mandi Boyle Events, a nationally recognized, award winning wedding planner and designer. R4Good Initiative

Since NewSouth Event Rentals first opened its doors, so to speak, our team has remained committed to doing good by the people of Charlotte and the surrounding areas. We recognize that without our clients and the community, we would not be where we are today. NewSouth believes that giving back is crucial to the community and to our business. Through our R4Good initiative, also known as Rent4Good, we are able to give back a portion of every dollar we earn to local charities that support children and educational causes. Adrian Hee, NewSouth’s owner, said it best, “it is not about holding on to the success that one has been given, but to share it freely to help pay it forward for others.” If you agree with that mentality, we’d love to work with you!

G2BGreen Initiative

Decades ago the green movement was only seen as something of a myth that would only hurt a business financially. Fast forward to the mid-1990s when perceptions of going green began to evolve. The Harvard Business Review  argued that “being green is no longer a cost of doing business; it is a catalyst for innovation, [and] new market opportunity.” To this day, the green movement is still alive and well and has not become a faded trend, like so many others.

 

NewSouth Event Rentals recognizes that as a company we need to do our part to contribute because this is not just something that matters to us, but our clients, too. Being a socially responsible company is of the utmost importance to the NewSouth team. This is why we collectively stand behind our G2BGREEN initiative. Launch Party

We had no idea what to expect from the Launch Party, but by the end of the night all of us at NewSouth agreed that it was a complete success. From the steady trickle of guests to the exquisite assortment of hors d’oeuvres, the evening went off without a hitch thanks to the staff at Lenny Boy Brewing Co. and Something Classic catering.

 

There was plenty of catching up with old friends as well as meeting new ones. Partnerships are already in the works and NewSouth is off to a great start.  Thanks to everyone who has supported us along the way. Sometimes just a small conversation can lead to big ideas. And none of this would have happened without great friendships.
